Ans. Various games are played in our city that are Mardari, Sittolia, Kho-Kho, Gilli-Danda, Chhuppa-Chuppa, Pakda-Pakdi etc. And some indoor games such as Ludo and Astha Chamma etc. are played too.

Q.3 Discuss and try to know that which games, the elderly persons in your home/neighbor played during their childhood?

Ans. The elderly persons in our neighborhood also used to play various outdoor games in their childhood such as Mardari, Sittolia, Kho-Kho, Gilli-Danda, Chhuppa-Chuppi, Pakda-Pakdi etc. They also used to play indoor games such as Ludo and Astha Chamma etc.

Ans. The games which are being played in above pictures are Badminton, Chess, Archery, Hockey, Kabaddi, Wrestling and Billiards.

Q.2 In Kabaddi, How many players are there in one team?

Ans. In Kabaddi, There are seven players in one team.

Q.3 Which games are played in an open ground?

Ans. Various games are played in an open ground such as Cricket, Football and Hockey etc.

Q.4 Which games are played in a room/ covered space?

Ans. There are many games which are played in a room/ covered space such as Billiards, Table Tennis, and Chess etc.

Q.1 How do you feel doing Yogasana after the prayer in assembly?

Ans. We feel relaxed, calm and energized doing yogasana after the prayer in assembly.

 

Q.2 If you have any experiences regarding Yoga education then  narrate them in the class.

Ans. There is a very popular aasan called Paschimottanasan. It is often practiced in our school. However it provides various benefits such as it works as stress reliever, Stretches deep muscles of ankles and legs and enhances concentration too if it is done regularly. But in our school it is used as punishment since it stretches deep muscles of ankles and legs.

Q.3 Why should we do Yoga?

Ans. Yoga is an art of living which develops positive approach towards life. It is also helpful in Physical, Mental, Intellectual and Spiritual development of our body.

Q.1 Sit relaxed and breathe normally. Place your fingers in front of your nostrils and feel the inhaled and exhaled air. Now jump at your place 10-12 times and then feel the inhaled and exhaled air again. What do you realize, In which condition the air you breathe is slightly hot and when is it cold?

Ans. After jumping 10-12 times at our place, We feel that the air which we breathe is slightly hot. However sitting relaxed at one place if we breathe then we feel that the air which we breathe is slightly cold.

Q.2 Blow air from your mouth 3-4 times in an empty glass or on the mirror and observe what happens?

Ans. If we blow air 3-4 times from our mouth in an empty glass or on the mirror then we observe that the surface of the empty glass or mirror gets blurred.

Ans. Yes. Fire can be lit up higher by blowing air from the mouth.

Q.6 Take an empty reel of thread and close one of it sides by sticking a paper on it. Now make a small hole near the closed end and place a seed of munj sweet cane plant (Known as sarkanda in Hindi) on the hole. Blow air in the reel by keeping the open end in the mouth and see what happens?

Ans. The seed will vibrate initially and then it will fall down.

Q.7 Sit relaxed and breathe normally. Note the time and count, How many times you breathe in one minute.

Ans. Sitting and breathing normally, We breathe 15-20 times in one minute.

Q.1 Take 2-3 rounds of your school’s playground. Now note the time and count how many times you breathe in one minute? Did you find any difference? The total count of breathe has increased or decreased?

Ans. When you run then we realize that total count of breathe is increased from 15-20 times to 20-25 times in one minute.

Q.2 Measure the size of your chest with a measuring tape. Then, inhale air with force and ask your friend to measure your chest again. Does the size of chest increase after inhalation of the air?

Ans. Yes. The size of chest increases after force inhalation of the air.

Ans. The names of five indoor games are Chess, Table Tennis, Ludo, Carrom and Billiards. While the names of five outdoor games are Cricket, Football, Hockey, Kabaddi and Basket Ball.

Q.2 What are the benefits of Yoga for our body?

Ans. The various benefits of Yoga for our body are following:

(i) It helps in reducing stress in our body.

(ii) It makes the muscles of our body stretched.

(iii) It also helps in mental, physical and spiritual development of our body.

Q.3 What type of work can we do by blowing air from the mouth?

Ans. The type of works which we can do by blowing air from the mouth are following:

(i) To lit up fire higher

(ii) To put out fire

(iii) To play various instruments such as Flute, Trumpet and Clarinet etc.
